A common issue users face is being unable to obtain testnet faucet funds, often due to account or payment verification issues.
Solution
Steps to Resolve:
- Ensure Payment Method Is Added:
Verify that a valid payment method has been added to your thirdweb account. Navigate to your account settings to check or update your payment method.
- Ensure Minimum Balance for Verification:
To access testnet funds, a minimum balance of $25 is required for verification. Make sure that this amount is available in your account. This is a temporary verification hold, and the funds will be refunded shortly after successful verification.
- Wait for Verification Process:
After the payment method and minimum balance are confirmed, the verification will process. This usually happens within a few minutes, but it may take up to 10 business days in rare cases.
- Upgrade to the Starter Plan:
Once your account is verified, it will automatically be upgraded to the Starter Plan, which is required to access testnet funds. You should now be able to obtain the funds successfully.
